SAGIP’s objective is to structure and promote the disciplines of its fields of activity.
The central activities of the association are:
- The organisation (or co-organisation) of symposia and seminars (Industrial Engineering days, Automatic Control days, etc.);
- The organisation of its themes into thematic subfields led by working groups;
- The production of books and collections for archiving and promoting research results;
- The production of documents and the organization of meetings to promote the field in its diversity among the various stakeholders (universities, organizations, ministries and social and economic circles); – Interaction with other learned societies in France (ROADEF, GRETSI,…).
